blacking out PHI on EOB's
What is the 'correct' process for eob's when there are multiple patient's listed? Is blacking out correct? or folding and copying so only one pt is listed? Thx!!

Either one is fine. As long as you are not sending their name or their SS number (which does still appear on many EOBs, including Medicare) you are in the clear.Sharon
